TIM Line, who dressed as Batman in a rooftop protest, was cleared of harassment towards Devizes solicitor Adrian Bressington today in Gloucester Crown Court after a two-year legal battle.
Mr Bressington, formerly head of family law at Awdry, Bailey & Douglas Solicitors of Devizes, said that Mr Line’s website adrianbressington.com was harrassment.
Mr Line, 50, from Trowbridge, started the website in protest at what he says were Mr Bressington’s tactics during a lengthy four-year divorce battle where Mr Line lost custody of his children.
Mr Line, a member of Real Fathers for Justice – which split from campaign group Fathers 4 Justice, appealed after being found guilty of harassment and sentenced to four weeks in prison, suspended for two years, last year.
